NCPC Sri Lanka since 2002…

National Cleaner Production Centre (NCPC Sri Lanka) is the foremost Cleaner Production solutions provider in Sri Lanka. The centre was established by UNIDO under the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to assist enterprises in adopting Cleaner Production (CP). Founded in early 2002, the centre has over fifteen years of experience in promoting Resource Efficient & Cleaner Production and in various industry & business sectors in the country. NCPC Sri Lanka is registered as a nonprofit guarantee company under companies act. No. 7 of 2007

NCPC Sri Lanka was set up under the UNIDO/UNEP Global programme of Cleaner Production and is one of the founder members of the Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production Network (RECP.Net).

Centre became a member of Climate Technology Centre and Network which is the is the operational arm of the UNFCCC Technology Mechanism.

NCPC is a registered as an Energy service Company (ESCO) under the Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority (SLSEA).

NCPC is a registered Consultant organization under Central Environmental Authority of Sri Lanka for providing environmental services to Sri Lankan industries.

The centre has competent and dedicated in-house team of experts supported by an external faculty.
