Nikeshala holds a B.Sc. special degree in Food Science and Technology. She works as a consultant in ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System and ISO 9001 Quality Management System. Recently she completed a course on food systems for healthier and sustainable diets at Wageningen Centre for Development Innovation (WCDI), Netherlands. She has been engaged in implementation of ISO 22000 for SMEs under special project with Ministry of Industry and Supply Chain management from 2019.
Apart from working as a consultant for ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 Nikeshala overlooks the ISO 9001 Quality Management System of NCPC Sri Lanka as the Management Representative.
