Ms. Sewwandi Pathirana holds a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Sciences and Natural Resource Management from Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. She is a Certified ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor with strong expertise in environmental management and sustainability.
She has hands-on experience in conducting Resource Efficient Cleaner Production (RECP) Assessments, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), and Initial Environmental Examinations (IEE).
Sewwandi provides consultancy services for the development, implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of management systems, including ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2018, ISO 45001:2018, HACCP, GMP, GAP, and Integrated Management System development. She also conducts internal audits to ensure compliance, strengthen system effectiveness, and support certification readiness.
In addition, she provides consultancy for ESG framework development and sustainable roadmap development, supporting organizations in integrating environmental, social, and governance principles into their core strategies and driving long-term sustainable growth.
Her work focuses on enhancing environmental performance, improving resource efficiency, and helping organizations achieve sustainable and internationally aligned operational excellence.
